Experience the New verison of Horizon™ metal overcap

Reduce CO2 emissions by 33%

This new version takes a new step to sustainable packaging with additional weight reduction making it possible to reduce CO2 emissions by 33% (compared to the first version).

Infinitely recyclable solution from the bottom end to the top

Facilitates the replacement of plastic lids currently present on certain metal tins intended to be reclosed (biscuits, coffee, infant milk, etc.) with a single-material solution that is entirely in metal from the bottom end to the top and therefore infinitely recyclable.

Even lighter and optimised for wider range

We succeeded in developing the Horizon™ metal overcap to be even lighter by reducing its weight from 15 grams to 5.8 grams and now available for 99 mm diameter can.

A solution that helps brands convert to recyclables in view of new packaging regulations

Legislative developments are increasingly restrictive regarding the use of plastic, as with the PPWR (Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation) and additional local regulations across Europe.

At Eviosys we aim to help companies meet these requirements thanks to Horizon™. Indeed, unlike plastics, which are still mostly incinerated or buried, metal can be recycled endlessly without losing its properties. Metal is one of the only two permanent materials that can be recycled without material degradation. This material helps break the destructive cycle of extraction-incineration and reduce pollution of soils, oceans and wildlife by plastic waste.

Metal packaging’s environmental benefits are undeniable. Its recyclability influences purchasing decisions for 82% of respondents, while 94% are already repurposing metal gift tins for various uses, showcasing its versatility. *Survey conducted by Focaldata , commissioned by Eviosys in November 2023.
